Had lotsa fun with my sis and cuzzies. All five of us- Me, Adik, Aqilah, Hussein and Nizam- wanted so badly to share a room and we got it. We had fun shopping, playing the themepark at Times Square, eating Tony & Roma's- Carls Junior- Subway(nie i tahu...Darlz mesti jeles!!).
We bought shoes, bags, tops, wallets, belts, perfumes etc.
My total spending for the 3days? RM 1200++. And thats solely on shopping. (food is settled by Ayah. ) On the other hand, I don't like to shop. So it amazes me that I can spend that much.
Here comes the complaint........................Some of the service totally sucks!!!!
1) Starbucks at Pavillion
Ayah wanted a drink but it was near to closing time so Me and Adik decided to check whether it was possible since there was still a caucasian couple at the counter. As we walk in, one of the staff who was cleaning the floor said "Nak dekat tutup. Tapi bole tanya manager."(It's closing soon. But you can ask the manager). We said thanks and walked in. As soon as the other staff-he was making a drink- saw us, he said very loudly and sarcastically "Alamak!! Ada lagi!!!"( Oh Shit! Theres more!!!). When he said that a lady in white tank top who doesnt seem to be more than 20 yrs old, counting the money behind the counter said "AAHHHHH!!" and dropped her body to the floor with her hand dangling on the counter;still holding the money. The moment I saw that, I said loudly"Eyh. Da arh Adik. Jalan sudah. Bukannya kita tak bayar. Bole ckp baik2 pe!!"(Forget ir arh. Lets go. Its not like we are not paying. They can say nicely what. Adik retorted with "Eyh!!!Kalau tak ikhlas tak payah suar!!"( Eyh, if ur not sincere, forget it!!). We walked away giving daggers to them. And thing is, they could even shrug their shoulders.
Ok..How irritating is that. They could just have said it and we would just walked out.But NO!! They treated us as invisible and was talking as if we have no value. For goodness sakes. We are the f**king customers!!
2) Auntie Anne's at Sungei Wang Plaza
We were all ordering seperately to minimise confusion. I had to order for myself and Ayah. What we wanted? 3 caramel almonds and 1 sesame. 2 Drinks. There was the combo. So since we wanted 4 pretzels, we could ask for 2 combos.
Me: Saya nak 2 specialty combos. Ada 4 pretzels kan. Jadi 3 Caramel almonds, 1 sesame. 1st staff: Caramel almonds takle specialty combos. Kena premium combo. Me: Ok. Jadi 2 combo lah ekh. 3 C. A. 1 sesame. 1st staff: Tapi kena ambik premium kalau gitu. C.A. cuma premium combo. Me: Ok. Bole. Saya tak kisah. Air Passion Fruit ok.
My sister told me that she was very unhappy and shoved the pretzels in the bag harshly. But since I didnt see that; I was talking to Ayah; i dismissed it.
3 mins later she gave me only 3 C. A. 2nd staff took over.
Me: Awak cuma kasi saya 3 C.A. Saya nak 1 sesame. Jadi ada 4 kesemuanya. Saya tak kisah ape combo pun, saya nak 4 pretzels 2 air. 2nd staff: Bole. Sekejap eh.
1st staff gave me 2 lemonades. Me: Sori ekh. Saya mintak Passion Fruit. 1st staff rolled her eyes.
10 mins later, I got what I wanted but my blood was pretty much boiling with the rudeness of the 1st staff.
This is another incident that makes me feel sore over their services.Theres a few more but this are the top two.
The experience makes me appreciate Singapore's service industry.
Now, I can enjoy my starbucks knowing that the staff (at any outlet) will treat me with respect. I can eat my pretzels with peace knowing that it was not thrown into the bag and my orders will be taken with a smile on the faces.
With that, I end the post with Hoorah for our service industry!!
P/S: Im such a nervous wreck right now coz will be going for Hafez Family gathering pretty soon. Argh!!!
