First and foremost, today was Mrs Quek last day. I wish her all the best in her future endeavours. She could have been the greatest partner that I could ever have but I guess we are just not meant to be partners. Gosh, saying this really makes me sad. Being her, she didnt want any farewells and as that was her wish, we didnt made one. She said farewells are sad and she wanted to leave happy. And so she did. No one knew when she did. She left without a gdbye.
OK. Im truly truly fond with both my classes. Love them to bits! The quiet ones, the out-spokens,the domineering ones, the followers. Every single one of them holds a special place in my heart. I never thought that your heart could hold so many 'love ones' at any one time but somehow, the more people you care, the greater the space to hold all of them in gets. (get it?)
Some of them said the sweetest ting to me just now which made me melt countless times...
Justin : Teacher, I wish I could give you a Valentine's Day card.
Me: You can, dear. You just have to make me one instead of buying for me.
J: Oh yah! Ok. Ill make it on Sunday.

Honestly, working with children are unpredictable all the time. Their actions and words can be so random...could be sweet..could be sad...could piss you off. But I love every single bit of it.
Of course there are trying times and the workload is huge especially with the two classes. And its no-brainer that the pay as a whole is quite low compared to other fields.
But fortunately for my dip, my pay is the same as any dip graduate in other fields.
Aniway, we had a meeting and it was agreed that the changes is doing more harm than good. So the vice-principal is looking into changing it back. If she does, we will all have our 1 hour break per session everyday. Which amounts to 2 hr break everyday to do our own work such as lesson planning, photocopying etc without having to stay back. Wooooohoooo!!
Oh yah...we did hand paintings for our 'curtains' and will upload the pics wen I can. stay tuned for it as its fanta-bulous!
