Weekend was a whirlwind for me...
Watched Final Destination 4 with Yan n Baya, Zal n Noor.
There were screams and it was gruesome.
Yet, somehow, it let all of us down. It was too predictable, it lacked the feelings that F.D. 1 and 2 stirred. We were all expecting more. We were disappointed badly. Maybe they should not have a F.D. 5. I don't know. Just too let-down by the story I guess. Of course, the main actors and actresses did their best and they were good. Too bad it cant save the plot.
If you dun mind, cheap thrills for that amount of money, go and watch. Otherwise, just wait for the movie to be screened on television.

On Sunday, it was the Cuzzin's Outing Day.
Break fast at MacDonalds at Tampines.
Made our way down to Geylang. They decided to karaoke at Grandlink instead.
Thus we spent 2 hours singing our hearts out and dancing our way through.
Super crazy. Which is sooooooo expected from the Kumpulan Gagak Hitam- the name our parents gave us all.
Since young, if you hurt one, you hurt us all..
Countless occasions of us protecting one another, saving each other backs, being there always. Thus the name.

Please bear in mind, it was all in the name of fun and grabbing purposes for the cuzzies. =)
Im so excited for the trip down to Geylang later with da peeps.....
Darlz will be picking me up once he finished work.

"Yesterday....all my troubles seemed so far away....."
We just couldnt stand missing each other so badly. Thus, I rode down to Clementi after Buka. Well, its a mutual agreement that distance wasnt a factor. Since Darlz will be sending me back home on Fri n Sat, I decided to rode there yesterday. Aniways, once I was on PIE en route, flashes of lightning can be seen all the way from Tampines down to Clementi. I was hoping and praying for it to rain only after I reached. I was shaking on my bike everytime there was lightning or the roars of thunder was heard. Terperanjat ok..
Alas, weather was on my side only halfway. At exactly the exit of Clementi Ave 6, it was drizzling. I stopped and put on my raincoat. Was thinking to myself how wet will be I till I reached so decided against wearing the pants. BIG MISTAKE. To cut it short.. When I reached Darlz place, I looked like I had bladder problems and pee-ed in my pants for about 10 times. soaking wet OK!!
The plan to West Coast Mccafe for some double choc flew out the window. We settled for Caramel Starbucks Coffee in a glass bottle from 7-11 and drank under the void deck.
Totally talked all the way from 8.15 till 11. Non-stop ok. One topic lead to another. Laughing and joking yet serious issues were also discussed. It was all worth it.
The itchy legs due to the wet pants, my wrinkled feet due to my wet Crocs, hair plastered on my head and my underpants that stuck to my bottom like no-ones business.
The time spent was worth the wet and cold ride down.
NOw...now.. I cant WAIT for Fri and Sat. Wweeeeee!!!

I am happy. I truly am.
Yet, in our web called LOVE.
Ive never been good at phrasing my words especially when emotions get the better of me.
Sometimes, I do wanna tell you everything. --How I feel, What I want, Why Im sad.
Yet again, im scared that you will judge me. Worse, u'll brush me off.
Although you've never done it before.
On top of that, you always have a say that makes me feel like a fool. Your words, when out, are true. And me? Just thinking with my emotions.
You are my life. And that makes me scared. Coz what will happen if you are no longer there?
We are too deep into this, we cant possibly live without the other.
You are the best that I ever had.
You got to understand that before, we came from two different world. Whereby mine doesnt believe in true love for another man.
I am trying my best. But is my best good enough??
I guess...all girls feel this way?- or am I an exception?

A short Post due to the amount of work that needed marking.
This was taken the day before I fell sick and was on MC for three days. Kwakaka...
Throughout the whole chilling session, was sneezing away and probably did passed a lil bit of germs to the rest. Baya started developing a red nose and was sneezing. Luckily, she was fine. =)
I stayed home for two days after and then, met the rest for Swensens @ Holland Village on Friday. A treat for myself... Enjoyed myself tremendously after being cooped at home.
And Now, Im back at work. =) Missed the kids so badly. Plenty of work to do.

My immune failed me!!!
Now, Im sick like a chicken waiting to be slaughtered. Eat Sleep, eat sleep.
3 days MC up till Friday.
What a 'great' time to be sick. When the concert rehearsal is on Saturday.
All I could think of are my kids, what they are gonna do, how are they gonna practice..
My mind is literally at work. Haiz...
Darlz is super sweet to understand my mood swings. =)=)

Life's not easy.
I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth. In fact, I could still remember the hardships my parents had to go through when I was younger. Being in and out of hospital twice a month, having fortnightly check-ups up till the age of 10 puts a toll on them. We never once bought our own furniture. All were passed down by relatives. Holidays?? I never knew that people fly on planes to other countries during holidays.
Yet, Ayah and Ibu never once did complain. Never once sighed.
Even when Ayah have to go hungry during work or coming home during lunch hour so that he can save expenditure not by eating out. Goodness, even Macdonalds was a luxury then.
I could still remember, my first burger and fries was at Burger King..at the age of 9.
My first bike was at 10. Bought by auntie when I managed to get into EM1.
My first electronic was a pager at age of 13. After passing PSLE with all A and A*. Bought by my uncle.
I was never given anything unless I earn it- through my studies,of course.
With my parents' perseverance and guidance, we have become an unbreakable family. Come what may, whatever problems that is put on us, we know we will get through it. Believe me, problems come by the tonnes.
Look where we are now. Ayah can afford most of the things in life. Managed to upgrade and renovate fully our house, bought our own furniture, holidays out of the country, our own car. He was our pillar, he had a vision and never wavered from it. He is my hero.
Please don't get me wrong. Im not to boast what I have in life. But only acts as a reminder, that not all were lucky.
A dialogue once hit me hard-
If you think you don't have slippers, there are others who dont have legs.
It says that fate is written.
Yet Destiny lies in our hands.
Don't lie down and accept it as it is. Stand up and do something as long as it can be done.
Don't be sad and mourn for what is not there if you are just shaking legs.
So now...
Shut Up and Smile.
Side-track
1) Am currently under 6 mths probation( of coz am still at my current workplace. Bonded!! But my job scope has widen). Waiting with bated breath for my salary harmonisation and March '10 when I complete my probation. Higher rank= More responsibilities. Damn!!
2) Chill- outs today... Need a breather badly. Counting down the minutes to meeting the peeps..
3) Kak Mas!! Get Well soon. I miss you.

Been missing in action and so many things have been happening.
Hmm...Lets start from the Picnic.
The PICNIC was superb lah kan.. we ate and stuffed our faces.
Den played CLUEDO. Which Ahmad totally didnt even bother to learn. Haha...
Laughed and laughed right through the night. Even Played Heart Attack and a never-ending 'Would you rather..' Fahmy did came down around 8pm...and so did Fai and Edjah..but only about 10plus. Packed up and left the area about 11.30pm. Enjoyed ourselves tremendously.
Do this again ok??

Then on Mon was a date to the movies with Darlz. We watched The Hangover.
Cool story with witty lines that crack you up. At times, the whole theater was roaring with laughter. It was worth it.
On another note, Kak Mas just went through an op. Im truly praying for the best.
She's like a sister to me, an inspiration at work and a role model in life.
Please protect her...Amin.
Workwise, Mrs Tan. my administrator, will be leaving for a better post at PCF HQ. A deputy of something-something. Not really sure. Mrs Kwan is promoted to Senior Principal and KAK MAS is promoted to Vice-Principal. WOOOHOOO!!!.. We all got this news the day before her op. So it was kinda bitter-sweet. Kak Mas will be resuming the post as of 1st Sept.
Congratulations to the 3 of them. =) =) =)
As for me, Mrs Tan wants to meet me in the office on Mon. I wonder what will that be about.

Attended a National Day Dinner at Springfield Sec as required by work.
Enjoyed myself especially the camwhoring and the magic tricks shown by a particular 'magician'.
Ayah fetched me soon after and we headed down to Abg Iwan's new place.
On Saturday, attended Noor's Sis wedding with Yan & Baya. Chilled for awhile after that at Baya's void deck before heading to Abg Arm's place for the gathering.
The Most Matching Couple of the Year Award goes to......
Today, will be heading to ECP for a PICNIC-pot-luck style.
People attending? Yan&Baya, Ahmad&Cass, Zal&Noor, Darlz&Me. Unsure whether Fahmy will be joining.
Cant wait for the Sun, Fun and Laughter!!

Both of us have been drained out badly for this week.
Darlz is busy with his course that the army sent him for. Driving those humongous trailers ekh? Haha..hopeless me. Dunno what. 4S course or something. So he is pretty stressed about it esp the parking. He totally went bonkers during the chill-out session that day. Too stressed up I think. HAha
Meanwhile, Im busy with the class. My morning class had only 10 chd on Mon and some parents are going berserk. Go lah..complain to the MOE or HQ. Ive done my best, we already fumigate the whole class. The rest of them are perfectly fine. What do you expect me to do? But its all better now, as the number of children are slowly increasing.
On top of that, we have to decorate the class and prepare ourselves with the National Day party, tomorrow. Im singing no less than 20 National Anthems for this whole week and prbably reciting more than 30 pledges. Whats with the Count on Me and Stand Up and Chan Mali Chan, Im being more patriotic as each day passes.
Thus, we cant wait for our weekends and upcoming week =)
