"Yesterday....all my troubles seemed so far away....."
We just couldnt stand missing each other so badly. Thus, I rode down to Clementi after Buka. Well, its a mutual agreement that distance wasnt a factor. Since Darlz will be sending me back home on Fri n Sat, I decided to rode there yesterday. Aniways, once I was on PIE en route, flashes of lightning can be seen all the way from Tampines down to Clementi. I was hoping and praying for it to rain only after I reached. I was shaking on my bike everytime there was lightning or the roars of thunder was heard. Terperanjat ok..
Alas, weather was on my side only halfway. At exactly the exit of Clementi Ave 6, it was drizzling. I stopped and put on my raincoat. Was thinking to myself how wet will be I till I reached so decided against wearing the pants. BIG MISTAKE. To cut it short.. When I reached Darlz place, I looked like I had bladder problems and pee-ed in my pants for about 10 times. soaking wet OK!!
The plan to West Coast Mccafe for some double choc flew out the window. We settled for Caramel Starbucks Coffee in a glass bottle from 7-11 and drank under the void deck.
Totally talked all the way from 8.15 till 11. Non-stop ok. One topic lead to another. Laughing and joking yet serious issues were also discussed. It was all worth it.
The itchy legs due to the wet pants, my wrinkled feet due to my wet Crocs, hair plastered on my head and my underpants that stuck to my bottom like no-ones business.
The time spent was worth the wet and cold ride down.
NOw...now.. I cant WAIT for Fri and Sat. Wweeeeee!!!
